Shykes latest comment on that github thread has a point: https://github.com/docker/docker/pull/10776#issuecomment-743... Interesting move by CoreOS here to create what will likely be a false dichotomy for doc

A bit off topic but is it conventional to have side mirrors on the hood like the taxi in the image does? Better view?

It seemed to me that interfaces have a second function of providing partial uniformity across types (not just abstracting procedures). I.e the Animal interface has a method `Speak() string` and you have a function that takes an Animal that

Go's interfaces are great, but one of my annoyances is that you can't define an interface with values (methods only). Which makes little sense considering it works just fine with getters and setters. i.e: type Blah interface

It was one region, multiple availability zones. You're right Multi-AZ != Multi-region (for things like Sandy and natural disasters) BUT they have mostly separate infra which does make multi-az failures very unlikely. Due to its simplic

Its an infinitesimally small chance. You'd need a mac collision, must be generated at the same time, and a uuid collision. Even at the largest scales (Google et all) the probability of that happening is effectively 0.

Actually it can. As long as they aren't randomly generated. UUID4s are random, lots of them including the mongodb use a timestamp/mac address as the first n bits of the guid. Not sure whether they have "no chance of collision
