It seems you’ve presented zero data points, and decided that this does not universally applies, which seems unreasonable.

What you said is very true, at large companies only. There are way more companies that are smaller and move much faster. When they hire someone, it's very clear to them what they will be doing, who will present the project to them and

It's not about believing, it's about knowing. You have to couple that time interval with the company they worked for. At one company it took them 2 weeks to set-up my email, 3 months to decide on which project to work on and in ab

"This information is very important." Years != Experience ...but thanks for confirming the shallowness of the recruiting processes we've all experienced.

Good engineers must learn that while they spent the time learning their skills, other people spent that time learning how to steal others’ people work. If you are really good, you must start your own company. Much harder, I know.

Sure there is. It's free if your income is less than $1000000 per year. It's $1000 per year otherwise. This is no joke, I know a company that does that.

What you say is just common sense but as you can see from the downvotes, average people do not like smart people. And the exact same thing happened before the launch, I bet. But the exceptional engineer was simply “downvoted”. Things are te

2 years ago with a Samsung tv: no network, no terms and conditions signed, no terms signed, the tv would always forget to use the same input it was using before restart (degraded functionality). I never tried to remove the network after I s

I got updates on samsung just fine and in fact more updates after 2-3 years. Also the updates were more visible (UX changes).

Yes. Here it is also because you can’t get it anywhere at the price you see on their website. It’s much more expensive and so not worth it.

German automakers have everything they need to beat Tesla and yet I keep watching them doing nothing year after year. Oh yeah, the people that really build these companies in the first place were squeezed out it seems.

First, sprints are dumb. You don't hear Usain Bolt running sprint after sprint, right? Second you have nobody that is senior. Yes expensive. But as you can see cheaper than the current situation.

What I was saying is that the way you debouce a button comes from the customer (mercedes, ford etc.). For sure you don’t act on a button press imediately. If you do that in automotive, all the electric noise will trigger the button randomly
