well, I heard 2 names for the gen after this next-gen ... One is next-next gen, although of course, this will have to stop at some point. The other one is simply 3rd generation sequencing (much more future proof :))

I personally use gregarius that I host myself. Not perfect, but good enough for my needs and my independence :)

Hey, me too :) Although it wouldn't have been my first choice (I was put on an already existing project), I came to like some parts of it.

It suggests that Europe will take it up before USA, for cultural reasons. I'm european, and I seriously doubt that. I'd say that the US would pick it up before Europe. In Europe, we are much more wary about "unnatural" way of growing thin

We started using Galaxy a couple of months ago in my company. I'm not involved in the projects using it but I've seen a demo and it seemed like a cool software, although it has its glitches, according to my colleagues :)

I'm sorry but that doesn't do the trick. The right click + Open link takes way longer than a middle click. The Cmd + Left click, while being closer to a middle click, still forces you to move your hand to the command button.

Hum, not to be pedantic, but it should be written Qt4 and not QT4 (which would be QuickTime 4)

I'm not sure calling this project "Growl" is a good idea, given that there is a pretty well-known piece of software called Growl for Mac OS X ( http://growl.info/ )

You're right, I didn't see the other 2 weeks mention. I also find 2 weeks for setting up an environment very long, but one can imagine he didn't spend 2 weeks before writing his first line of OCaml. And even if he did so, I think he would h

No, read carefully, he did spend 2 weeks setting up Visual Studio for F#, not for the Eclipse setup. One can reasonably think he did spend less time for the Eclipse setup. Besides, I don't think you can be as productive with Vim or Emacs in

Yes, but he seems to be more of an "IDE guy", and apparently, Eclipse did the trick, solving all his issues. Actually, Vim or Emacs would have probably created more issues for him if he's not used to those tools.

It's using the :visited css pseudo-class. If you put visited link in a different color in your css, you can then check what is the current color of the link with Javascript, and from that infer wether the link has been visited or not

Would it be possible to add an alternative to OpenID login ? I don't like OpenID logins, don't want to use it, and boycott (as in don't register) to websites where it is the only solution. Am I the only one in this situation ?
