I don't think that will happen. The design of WebAssembly (in particular not having GOTOs) isn't really hardware-implementation friendly. I would rather expect hardware JVM or BPF implementation than WASM.

The function that calls `new_point`, the value is moved. Similarly, consider the following case. struct Point a = new_point(); struct Point a2 = a; Assuming `struct Point` has a destructor, this would move `a` into `a2`, and pr

Wow, this is quite a trainwreck. I think it's possible to improve C while keeping compatibility with C programs, but that's not how you should do it. I think an improved C would be quite useful, but you really should be careful wi

It's the streamer who decides when the ads should show (this is because those ads hide the stream, so they should be used when nothing is happening). If they never tell Twitch to show ads, SureStream ads won't appear.

That's assuming you would recompile the user. Using a constant instead of a function breaks ABI if the size of a struct changes.

Agreeing here. However, worth noting a lot of this accidental complexity is visible due to dynamic dispatch. If `get_user` wouldn't have to be dynamically dispatched, it would be simply written as: async fn get_user(&self) -&

It's not really all that crazy. Sure, if you consider languages like C#, it's much more verbose than those, but that's because Rust tries to deal with async without garbage collection. This isn't a typical code you would

Google promises exactly that for G Suite accounts, see https://support.google.com/googlecloud/answer/6056650 for more details. However, there is a trade-off that some services won't work with G Suite accounts

No, no, no. 1. Super Mario Bros. is 40KB (PRG ROM is 32KB, and CHR ROM is 8KB). That said, I suppose if you were to compress the ROM, you probably would end up with value like 31KB. 2. Levels don't use RLE or LZ77, that would use too m

There is no bug with `\r\n`. I checked the provided example, fixed `\N` to be `\n` (this bug causes a compilation error, so it would be noticed during compilation). The hex output is as follows. 00000000: 436f 6e74 656e 742d 5479 7065

Yes, however if copyright did not exist, GPL would be unnecessary, all software would be free software. Sure, the source code sometimes wouldn't be available, but there would be nothing legally preventing decompilation. Sure, GPL softw

What does this have to do with E2E? I don't see how filtering HTML is harder to do - even if somehow server-side algorithms are better (which this presentation seems to imply), cannot the same algorithm be used client-side? In a way, t

Assuming you use the bandwidth all the time, you have 256kbps speed, which effectively means at most 82GB transfer (and that's assuming the connection is used all the time, 24 hours in a day, which isn't gonna happen). So, I guess
