Did the study determine which way the relationship went though? Only McDonalds that are making a profit will be able to afford to pay more than minimum wage, a struggling one will obviously not be able to do that very easily.

> To not commit an entire society to a single economic theory. Which means getting rid of a lot of the centralized control mechanisms that currently require just such a commitment. Isn't that just another economic theory?

If you are suggesting that a nuclear power plant can detonate like a nuclear bomb, you are wrong, they are a completely different design. Sure they can melt down in rare cases, but that's hardly anything on the scale of a nuke. I would

I would argue that HR is much more about dealing with people, and managers are responsible for providing systems for the people to work effectively in. Especially if you are upper management, you aren't going to be working with people

Isn't that the point? Monkeys don't have language and culture, but males and females still prefer different types of things, giving evidence to the argument that it is not simply culture influencing children's toy preferences

And it removes the heat through... magic? All this does is redirect the air into your house, and compress it a little (causing it to heat up very slightly). Sure, it will feel cooler because you have air circulation, but opening a window ha

But why is that Ubers problem. If it was a job, I would understand, but being an Uber driver has no barrier to entry for most people, and no penalties if you leave, so clearly they are providing a net benefit to the drivers life otherwise t

Seems like they went a bit overkill with the bikes. They don't need an expensive fork and disc brakes, a cheap one with rim brakes would work just fine.

Also disc brakes aren't really helpful when you are just riding around in the city, just higher maintenance. It would probably be better to just get some decent rim brakes.
