We moved to a somewhat set release cadence and then instead of discussing timeline estimates with clients, we discussed release scoping and what was in the next release(s). It had a helpful effect of abstracting the development team and hel

In addition to other comments saying to add reasoning, I’m a big fan of the ‘MoSCoW’ method (must/should/could/would) to remove ambiguity around if things are a question vs a command vs a thought. ‘You must do x’ sets a clear

There can be interesting impacts on orbiting satellites - mostly gravity irregularities just add stationkeeping work, but they can sometime be leveraged to alter a satellite’s orbital inclination (a plane change). For Lunar orbit they’re ev

One really fascinating aspect of sonar that leads to risks/collisions like this, is that there are ‘blind spots’ in the ocean. Because sound waves pass differently through water of different temperature and salinity and both of those c

RE: the circle maintenance effort, I’m finding that people are using group chats (in messenger, WhatsApp, etc) as a solution to the pain points Circles set out to solve. For example, I’ve now been added to a chat with all my extended family

I second this notion - other comments here are saying micromanagement is a symptom of a trust shortfall (which can be true), but where I’ve seen it most is managers who aren’t as adept at communicating direction or feedback and fall back to

I'm surprised to see such an optimistic outlook for UIPath; Microsoft has started encroaching on the space with their Power Automate platform and their desktop automation flows. They use similar-looking UIs (I believe it's Windows
