When did "AI" become "general intelligence"?

The new Apple Watch 10 has an 18-hour battery life, so if you use it while you sleep, you won't have much left. I have no idea how some people can charge their smartwatch 1 or more times a day.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about the standard mono-SI ones, so (in his opinion) having 20% more efficiency doesn't matter much.

These solar panels are probably much more expensive than the standard Mono-Si ones right now, they lack scale of production.

Inverters are also very cheap nowadays. The most expensive part of a solar installation is labour.

I wonder what's the degradation of these panels.

GPT-4 has not been used in the free ChatGPT chat, same thing with GPT-4-Turbo, and I highly doubt that the author has used the pay version.

When they were using the Sonnet 3.5 API, they censored the word "Claude" and replaced "Anthropic" with "Meta", then later when people realized this, they removed it. Also, after GPT-4o they switched to a llama

I use a hair dryer that is a little bit more than 2kw, but I guess because of the 120V it would be a problem in the US. 16 amps x 120v = 1920W, it would probably trip after several minutes. 16 amps x 230v = 3680W, it wouldn't trip.

For context, the article is from April, as such the author is using GPT-3.5.

The biggest problem with the default Flux model is that it generates images with that strong AI look, probably caused by the distillation of the CFG. You should try some LoRAs for this, and also prompt the model to generate the rack that ho

There are really good models for AI art, if people care. I think that AI is better at making an image from start to finish than making some software from start to finish. And I use Claude 3.5 Sonnet myself.

The weight size depends on the accuracy you are running the model at, you usually do not run a model at fp16 as it would be wasteful.

There is a long list of "guidelines" on this site, calling HN "the last bastions of free speech as a forum" is silly, there are way less moderated websites out there.

Just tested and it's actually banned, Dang's advanced moderation filter. I didn't even know there was a dictionary based filter.

It's particularly good, hopefully it would allow more people with a small budget to train powerful audio generator (and also it's SOTA so even if you have a bigger budget, it's better).

This is just STT+LLM+TTS, GPT-4o voice mode that is being released uses a single model to listen and generate audio tokens, this allows a much better understanding of the environment (like understanding two people talking at the same time)

Larger blocks are also perfect for scripts and tools for personal use, in this case you can just check if it works or not, Claude 3.5 Sonnet usually does not disappoint.

I agree that art is human expression, in case it wasn't clear, and a human using AI is human expression, just like a photographer is, and therefore it's art. No human is ever going to agree on what tools can make a person an artis
