I don't even think it's flamebait, people just like being edgy on the internet so they enjoy these memes, reading the comments under these posts would probably confirm what I'm saying.

They are talking about STT, not TTS, but as a TTS piper is very good and works nicely on a raspberry pi, I agree.

Look up for faster whisper or distilled whisper models, smaller models run quite nicely but perform poorly outside of English, if you are interested in a different language it's better to finetune it (HuggingFace has a huge amount of f

It balances the computing and memory bandwidth bottleneck so by a lot, with continuous batching you can easily see a x10, x20 or more.

2.5 Flash Lite seems better at everything compare to 2.0 Flash Lite with the only exception being SimpleQA, so there is probably a small tradeoff on pop culture knowledge for coding, math, science, reasoning and multimodal tasks.

Very nice being able to read an actual paper on a powerful text-to-video model.

Most drones are wireless, the vast majority in fact, but there are drones that use fiber optic but of course they are much more expensive and they have to carry a large spool of fiber optic, the spool must be on the drone so it wouldn'

There are plenty of Stable Diffusion based models that are capable of inpainting, of course they are heavier to run than LaMa.

Aren't 2 (pair), 3 (triangle), 4 (square) and 5 (pentagon) also "circles" with less resolution? The visualization is just consistent.

There are specialized models, but even generic ones like Gemini 2.0 Flash are really good and cheap, you can use them and embed the OCR inside the PDF to index to the original content.
