I mean, there's nothing too magical about boot camp—even if apple removed all support for it from macOS, you can probably install windows on a partition the normal way without too much trouble. I think the only thing that might break i

I don't have personal experience, but I wouldn't be surprised if employees in larger companies need to have a lawyer read any contract before signing it, which may be an expensive and/or slow process.

Presumably, there's at least one US citizen who is on the LibreSSL "core team." With a gag order, get them to write a subtle backdoor (see [0]), and add it to the codebase however they normally do. The developer is presumably

I mean, there's an argument that this is worse. If a security bug is found in libc, in the "old world," your distro would have an update out in a day, and you'd be completely safe. With flatpak, you also depend on whoeve

It is possible to use WhatsApp (on iOS, at least) without giving it contact access. I do this and it isn't too bad—you still see people's WhatsApp nicknames, so it's not like you're just looking at phone numbers. Of cour

So… these aren't accessible without specially configured DNS, right? Given that the point of domains is to let people get to your site, a TLD only accessible after reconfiguring your computer to use a little-known DNS competitor seems

I think the implication here is that "Mongo's documentation is deliberately bad in order to hide their technical deficiencies," i.e. they're hoping people will use the defaults, be impressed by the speed, and never reali

It's probably Radar, which is Apple's internal issue tracker, which isn't public (you can see issues you submitted, but nothing else). Sometimes people cross-post issues they submit to http://openradar.appspot.com

In the US, AP tests aren't really used for admissions—that primarily falls on the SAT/ACT, GPA and the more subjective things (essay, rec letters, etc). AP tests mainly are just for the college credit.
