Reminds me of of emoji almost. Ambiguous, short on vocabulary, but you can get ideas across. An advantage over Toki Pona is that everyone already "speaks" it, but I assume TP has more in terms of linguistic structure

This post does a good job of telling me what linkerd is early on. I don't think a lot of projects realize posts like these are the first many see of the project. Maybe do a check for first visit and perhaps HN referrer?

What about private code on GitHub? Email/files on Google? Heck, customer data in AWS?

Trump. We'd need to teach people to assume anything unsigned is fake.

My favorite bit of wat.js is this: [1,2,3] + [4,5,6] // => "1,2,34,5,6" I mean, it makes some degree of logical sense (toString -> concat) but there is no reason that would ever be the intended behavior. A

They claim they only needed one minute of sample audio. We really need to start requiring that all public announcements (news, press releases, etc) are digitally signed and put into the blockchain.

To be fair, that demo could have been staged whereas we can be pretty darn sure those aren't Trump's actual words.

HAH! Seriously though, it is weird having three identical-looking Stories features that don't show the same data, despite being linked to my FB account (can't speak for WhatsApp as I don't use it).

To get a module marked as "covered by the Drupal security team" it is required to go through a community code review.

One could argue that the ability to replace OS elements is a feature.

The image I worked on only got a bot put together mid-day 3. Many factions refused to use bots at all.

This is either a horribly timed announcement or a joke written very seriously. I have no idea which.

Huh, not an unreasonable argument. However: Dropbox seems to be singled out for doing things like this, despite browsers, Win10, etc. The updater changes nothing unless someone has done a full audit of the Dropbox binary. Updater or not, Dr

Huh, I find safari's devtools much more useful than Chrome's, though I admit I am more used to it. What annoys you about Safari's dev tools?

I have to wonder if he's ever tried vim. Seems like a lot of the features he likes are in vim as well. I'm sure a lot of this applies to emacs as well.

If you're going to manually audit the source, you can curl into a file then run bash on it. If you're not going to read the code anyway, there's no harm in curl|bash.
