Yeah I always see this "issue" with Neovim and its almost entirely user-cultural, installing big blobs of plugins, updating to edge every day and some kind of jones's pressure. These days you can probably install mini.vim t

Whats the point of all that? I guess at some point you hope to amass enough "quality" accounts to sway opinion on products? It makes more direct sense on Facebook et al or Reddit, but I guess on HN you're doing the same thing

I just get my agent to read them for me and present a few options for comments as derived from the vibes of any existing comments. If I time out, it posts a random option, then at the end of the week I get it to summarise all the content I

My aunt calls it "chat", "I asked chat", which is funny to my online-brain. Like she's a streamer with a permanent audience of 1. Hey chat, is this real?^1 1. https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/chat

But the (royal) Wife needs to 1) know that exporting is a concept, 2) automating an export is possible, 3) you could ask claude to do it, 4) what an API key is or how to connect services. My mum, and probably nearly a billion other users, c

I dunno between following the party king and "we must bail them out to avoid total economic collapse" (real or imagined), I wouldn't be betting against bailouts.

It's very easy to call Erlang from Elixir, value = :erlang.function(a, b, c) So with that in mind, you can just learn Elixir, use Erlang where you need it for some libraries. Elixir is IMO much nicer to learn, write and use.

I dont get why anti-swap is so prevalent in Linux discussions. Like, what does it hurt to stick 8-16-32gb extra "oh fuck" space on your drive. Either you're going to never exhaust your system ram, so it doesn't matter, m
