This is very inspiring! I am passing the same problems in a React/Redux project, and I will certain consider Elm!

I worked 2 months for a IT company that uses 100% salesforce. It was the worst experience of my life. The tool can be great for the sales team and others, but keep things separated, salesforce shouldn't be used by programmers.

I miss pattern matching, and let...in expression, because arrow function without it doesn't make much sense.

I am sorry for what happened. But I just can't understand people who drink and eat at the same table with electronics. It is hard to happen, but eventually it will and will damage everything, so why doing that, this upsets me when I se

Clojure is awesome. But refactoring a big project without a type system is very hard and error-prone, and clojure error messages are very difficult to understand.

Everytime. If anything goes wrong I just see the message (action in redux) and see the current state in that time, so I can understand what happened. In some cases it is more effecting than sending a log.

Elm made me hate working with Javascript in my job, and the differente is brutal. I don't believe in silver bullet but this is the domain where Elm shines: frontend development. I love every aspect of it. Elm is a very simple language,

Is IDA so superior to OllyDBG? What are the differences? I was into reversing in 2009/2010, was just a hobbist trying to crack some programs and making bots to some games.

I would say the same for Elm architecture and type system that guarantees no runtime exceptions. There is nothing similar in frontend languages and frameworks.

Haskell and OCaml try their best to not be popular. Elm is very beginner friendly, docs, installation, great libs for each purpose and is like 5 years old. OCaml has more than 20 years old and for a beginner to install everything and make a

So Elm could not be better. No runtime exceptions and easy refactor, what else would I need? There is not even comparison to a identical React project.

I know that loc is not a good metric, but there is not a better one. A project with 1kk loc will always be more complex software than a 100k loc, so we can compare. Were you using cljfmt like Elm users use elm-format?

I agree with you, but breaking code is not really a problem since elm compiler is fast and has nice error messages. Porting big code bases takes time, but it's very worthy imo.
