Unfortunately, you can be subject to youtube videos being blocked in just your country (Germany and the US are the countries I've heard the most complaints from on that score).

That's really misleading. He offered to write the monitoring code so he'd be able to trust it not to be doing more than required, and asked to be paid $3,500 for the effort.

The most interesting things to me here are the fail-in-place design and the fact that they track FreeBSD 9.1-STABLE so closely. Both of these run counter to what I think of as the "corporate" way to do things, namely an aversion to any part

My understanding is that Bitcoin production difficulty is inversely proportional to the amount of power being spent on mining. If the price of BTC drops so much that it's not worth it to mine and some people stop, the difficulty will drop a
