the distance between BLAS and mathematics is quite big. Have you had a look at, for example, the Eigen library? Although it's still more verbose than math notation, it stays much closer and, in my experience, does allow for nearly all

Recently I tried to cross-compile a Qt application. With differences in the moc executable between host (x86 debian) and target (rpi3), I couldn't quite get things to work (with cmake as build system). Do you have any tips?

I've had Odroid devices in the past. Although they by all means work as advertised, the SW support for the raspberry pi is higher, allowing more recent kernels and with more (most) of the sources available also more tinkering. I'd

Hardware has lots and lots of pieces of memory, not only block-ram, but also many registers. The needs to be initialized after power-off. As for the software: Hibernate is storing that initialized state.

I'm wondering if there's still a good reason. Cmake with either vcpkg or conan makes for a very reliable system. The syntax still isn't the prettiest, but if done well ('modern' cmake, using targets), cmake scripts

Why is including build time sensible? If one has reproducible builds, wouldn't a commit/tag from the version control system also do the job of traceability and reproducibility ?
