The behaviour has been built in and accessible since Firefox 4 (initially through about:config, later through the Preferences), but has only been enabled by default later on. I've personally been using it since it appeared, and it's great i

I don't know about it in terms of money loss, but generally having missed checks caught at compile time rather than having the program crash is a good thing.

It's a good idea to record invariants about your code and your problem. Tests are one way, and there are some other ways. It's a good idea to have the checking of invariants be automatic somehow. Any assumptions about the output of your cod

The point is that the attacker watches from a distance, and using the rough hand movements he/she has seen can reduce that 24 combinations significantly.

I have never understood what was so confusing about the concept of pointers. What I can see as confusing though is the way C's syntax works with declaring multiple levels of pointer indirection with arrays mixed in, although that can be mit

I personally find that I cannot code when I have music playing, because music distracts me and I find myself listening to the music instead of being able to think about the problem. I concentrate best in silence.

The way this happens underneath is that every type that has a Num instance has a fromInteger function. If a literal like 3435 is encountered, the fromInteger function gets called on it to convert it to the appropriate type.

a and b are placeholders (type variables). They can be any type, for example Integer, or a Float. It doesn't matter. [a] is a list of a, [b] is a list of b. Map takes a function that takes an a and returns a b, and applies it to every eleme
