You are right that we should not got back from html. I find .txt file publishing interesting anyhow because the files can be rendered in everything. A .txt file can be viewed in a browser, rss reader, any text editor, in the terminal, etc.

This site has been around forever, it's run by an old Los Angeles Valley College Professor named Kelly L. Ross. It's interesting because he still updates articles on it even though it looks like something from the early 2000'

I think the trick is to avoid the hr tag and to center the pages. I run a no css website https://www.pilledtexts.com/ and just have the readable content in .txt files where I can add a max width.

Or Tor will release another address system. I remember when the Tor team released their v3 onion address a few years back they killed access to the old v2 sites on the network by not making the new browser versions backwards compatible.

Yea I mostly use LibreWolf now as Tor is too slow and too many services block it and just use it to read (many news sites have tor addresses now). But another reason to support the project is that a lot of the anti-fingerprinting innovation
