Due to a quirk of history the Dutch version got dubbed initially as an attempt to create an edgier version of Pat and Mat when it was aired within the framework of a quite progressive block of children's television in the Netherlands.

That attachment might be something to work on. I wouldn't mind stimulating my kid to build up their own library once they've reached the point of reading adult fiction and books can be reread by themselves after a few years, or en

We don't do this either (I hardly look at the thing at home), but just a look at the other parents bringing in their preschoolers at school is depressing. Half of them have their phone out, and the number of parents you see pushing a p

Also, given that they understand Dutch, get them on to Buurman en Buurman! (The excellent stop motion Pat & Mat from Czechia). That's something which works well even at 3.

I would expect a lot of viewers to find a kind of subdued eroticism there, but of the kind which is fine and fairly safe-for-work as long as all involved parties consented and the photo is used in a non-erotic context. For the photographer

OpenStreetMap generally follows the guideline that all tags and generic values (i.e., not names and other language dependant stuff) are written in British English. Exceptions exist due to the way this project works. The wiki is the primary

You misinterpreted the wiki page. That tag (like several others) explicitly supports user-defined values. This is useful, because you cannot define a complete set of values for something as open-ended as a way's surface. Innovations ha

Most basic sushi just starts with cucumber, maybe avocado, carrot, perhaps going a little beyond and doing a Japanese omelette topping, and obviously seaweed. I wouldn't consider fish to be part of any first attempt at sushi. It's

That's heavily location and use dependant. Why would Google Maps be better than OpenStreetMap locally downloaded for off-line use into OsmAnd or OrganicMaps? In much of Europe Google Maps can't even compete with OpenStreetMap data

Considering the fact that OrganicMaps shows a map of the world, it might be something as daft as allowing children to look up where the nearest brothel is… ( https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:amenity%3Dbrothel )

I love the camera bump on the Pixel 6. I made a leather belt pouch¹ for it for use on trips and hiking, and the camera bump sits neatly on the edge of the front of the pouch (the back part curves around as a flap over the top). It gives my
