I feel though consumer hardware is going to be a lot more standard from now on. The wild west hardware age may be coming to an end, so VMs-everywhere would be trying to solve a problem of the past rather than to be a solution for the future

Do you know DarwinBots? There's plenty to take from there. I've been wishing for years for an alife sim as flexible as DB that would run well on Linux.

But, doesn't it follow that lower temperatures would mean less ice melting, therefore less cold freshwater added to the ocean?

Oh, the nostalgia. A few people I knew swore by WordPerfect, because it had the most features of the editors known around here. I really dreaded trying to navigate its menues and figuring out why things were buggy. It was a bit frustrating

That's correct. And because the orbit forces it to slowly overtake the comet, it needs to slow down periodically to stay at 100km of it.

I think one key this time could be that mortality is down from 90% to 60%. If the virus is less aggressive, infected people have more time to move around and spread it.

Most of that distance is on fairly calm waters, and they got it as close as 7km of the destination, without having to create ad hoc one-time solutions and live test them with the product to deliver. Any difference in cost is probably tiny c

I often have to go commando scripting small tasks to deliver things within the week, and the only comments I couldn't live without are TODOs to mark things that are hacked together. If time is limited I'd always rather write clean

Last batch of dry beans I prepared I started to wonder if it's really cheaper for me to pay for the energy needed to cook them well versus just quickly heating a can. Fresh beans though are definitely great, and with homegrown ones you

Freenode is still plenty active, specially for FOSS. Even Reddit opened just a couple years ago their own server @ irc.snoonet.org. Coding chatbots for IRC is still a really fun way to practice NLP concepts.

There's a lot of money in making developers and tech businesses feel dissatisfied with whatever they have, regardless of whatever they need. I think one of the things we haven't really tackled that much is actual dishonesty in the

gThumb has been my favourite for years for quick resize/crop/rotate/white balance edits and image folder browsing. I don't know why it never was picked as default on Linux Desktops.
