Wow.... something jumped right out at me in that article. The photo of Woz & Jobs holding the circuit board. Woz looks like he's jumping for joy, loving every minute of it. Jobs looks like a grump who couldn't care less and w

Haha. At the interview for my current job I was asked how I'd secure a remote service. My first response was along the lines of "Ask someone who actually knows about security, because I know just enough that I'd probably mes

While unsatisfying I think the answer is "because of the culture we find ourselves in". Nothing more, nothing less. Culturally speaking, leprechauns, unicorns and Darth Vader have no relation to "Why is there something inste

That really sucks. Still, discovery has been crap on iTunes for.... how long? I've always relied on sites like TouchArcade and their ilk when trying to find iOS games. I really wish Apple would do something like Google Play does, wher

They could be any of those. In a sense, BSODs aren't anything special -- all a BSOD means is that some code running in kernel mode has crashed or raised some exception that went unhandled. The same thing, when it happens in a user-mod

I hadn't actually put those thoughts together - which is funny considering I've been working a lot with embedded boards lately. So.... how could you custom-build something akin to say, the Netgear Nighthawk (Netgear R8000)? I'

Retail stores just physically cannot compete on choice. There's only so much stock that you can hold at a walk-in store and they all seem to become necessarily limited to the 'popular and generic items'. The smaller niche s
