According to their documentation, the network module is "Intel Wireless Module". I assume Intel ME know how to talk to this one? https://www.orwl.org/wiki/images/9/95/SowDESIGN-SHIFTORWLPUB...

If you use firefox you can go into about:config and set `plugins.enumerable_names` to nothing. It might make flash unavailable on some sites, so you might wan't to leave that inn.

But slack do have Linux "support". You can just use the IRC gateway through any Linux clients, or look up a project like slk, https://github.com/drikin/slk There are also projects that wrap around 1Password.

Thats what they want, not what they currently got. The laptops that have been shipped does not use Coreboot, it has a proprietary BIOS.

I'm pointing out that these laptops are no more free then any other laptop out there. It's just an average laptop shipping a Linux distro. These guys won't be able to get the binary blobs from neither Intel nor Nvidia release

We have a few people that have deployed Hy in production, not that we advice that as Hy is not really stable. There are however a few projects here and there. https://github.com/trending?l=hy

I believe virtualenv (with/without virtualenvwrapper) is most widely used. Not sure if there are any advantages/disadvantages compared to conda tho. https://virtualenv.pypa.io/en/latest/ https:/&#x

Thats not true. Snowden have said several times that if he can get a fair trial, he would jump on the first plane to the US. However, the US have not guaranteed him that in any way. He does not want to end up like Chelsea Manning.

Please just keep people like Lizard Squad, Ulbricht, Omari and co away from people like Hammond, Mitnick, and Barrett Brown. Two completely different ideologies, and shouldn't be all thrown under one buss.

No! :D Hy aims to be bidirectional. Swapping around data structures will mess with that. Hy doesn't want to be intrusive, you should really be able to tell when you use Hy code.

We got this very "problem" in Hy. AST allows for several characters as Names, where python does not. A great example is with gensym, here we will make an ast.Name node with a prefix ":", if you run astor over this, you p

No not at all. Coffeescript is a transpiler. It converts its own code directly into javascript code. This project converts its code to AST, not Python code itself. You can generate the Python code off from the AST, but it dosnt always imply

It compiles to AST, so he could just do the same we did in Hy, write a import hook and stuff the compiled AST back as an module. Then python should be able to use mochi without many limitations.

Well, that most likely won't change. Hy's goal is to be bidirectional, so there are a few things here and there that doesn't feel as lispy as it should. Like having data returned when you use assoc as an example. The scoping

The entry is misleading. We don't really do TCO. It's just a trampoline calling the loop/recur form until there is nothing left to produce. Same solution clojure has, as the JVM dosn't allow for TCO.

All you gotta do is import hy before the given hy module. Hy uses a metaimporter to parse the Hy code and hand the Python compiler AST. So you can import any hy file like normal Python and use the code. Its that simple.

Yes, thats where the power of lisp is. Say we want to implement do/while. In Python you would have to go into the compiler. In a Lisp, like Hy. We can just write it as a macro. We implement yield-from on Python2 using a macro. http:&#
