It's so funny to me that MSVC has become the cutting edge of C++ standards implementation. I remember starting out when it was a joke compared to Clang - although I was a novice, so who knows how complete my knowledge was at the time.

It's super funny reading this comment section having just recently started looking into custom mechs. My reaction on looking at the website was - whoa, a nice 70% keyboard, so nice to see a custom build that actually has function keys.

That's unfortunate. I'm lucky enough to have studied my target language on & off for over a decade and one of my main issues at this point is vocabulary. But you're not wrong - it's not useful for everyone.

This is correct yeah, there's a lot of effort involved in porting mods to newer versions. Larger mods slowly move in that direction, but at the end of the day even now people are playing modpacks from 1.12 because there simply aren

Many people still run on older modded versions. To use the example you gave, HarvestCraft 2's CurseForge page[0] says: > Welcome to the brand new HarvestCraft for 1.14.4 and beyond! Please read carefully as this is NOT a update of

Yep, this is what I do! If I have a complicated issue and Google won't solve it, I'll write up a clear, context-inclusive explanation of the issue and what I'm looking for, then paste it into a couple different groups. Usuall

This might be the rationale, but it's fundamentally very wrong. In the vast majority of "programming/tech discussion/help" spaces I frequent, the response to this is almost always going to be: "Maybe, ask your

Josh Wardle, creator of Wordle, was interviewed on the Syntax podcast and they discussed exactly this. I'd paraphrase the segment (it was a really interesting bit on design philosophy) but I don't remember it quite well enough so

Wow, glad I saw this - it explains a lot. Went to go and try to play an AC game again after giving up a year or two ago and couldn't figure out my login details. Guess this is (maybe?) why. Can't find a deletion email though, so i
