It’s not that lowering cholesterol does not decrease heart disease, but the fundamental problem of heart disease is not cholesterol, it’s the inflammation. Lowering cholesterol lowers the amount of oxidized cholesterol that is caused from i

I bought an iPhone 16e which I am about to sell, not only because of iOS 26 (horrific looking and battery drain), but I did not know they switched to only eSIMs. I have a flip phone which I like to use when I have no need for a smart phone.

It’s not secret , it’s published widely and I read it often. Here’s an example of how much cheaper Canadian farmland is an American farmland. And your farmland is not only cheaper, but it’s more productive. You can’t compare the United Stat

You don’t understand America because you don’t live in America. Monopolies drive up land prices to squeeze out people who can’t afford the land.

You seriously think these 400+ farmers that attended this meeting got into trouble because they bought “new toys“? There’s a monopoly in farming like there’s a monopoly in tech. And you think you can go into tech with some niche business an

It is true that early man specifically during the Ice Age, had a much higher omega-3 diet. But many of you are not genetically ice age people. I know I am because of my haplotype, which is K1. Most European Caucasians would probably do bett

I agree with all you say here. I’ve been studying this for over 15 years because my family suffered from early heart attacks, like below 50 years of age. My brother died of a heart attack at 48. This heart disease risk along with psychiatri

No, you don’t need a centralized government in all social systems. Centralized government is the big distinction here. Libertarian socialism of a decentralized government.

I’m sorry you’re missing my point. If a culture grows up eating a lot of long chain poly unsaturated fatty acids, and then suddenly they stop, then the myopia develops. In populations that depend on a very heavy vegetarian diet, which is co

Both of these cultures are genetically adapted to the foods they need. So comparing these populations will not reveal anything about myopia in certain populations.

I take fish oil and eat seafood for this exact reason. I probably get 4 to 5 g of omega-3 a day at least. And that really moved all my lipids in a positive direction.

I believe you. People really don’t understand how important omega-3 is for the transport and metabolism of neurotransmitters. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16963244/

Although high omega-3 with saturated fats may protect against the effect of only a diet high and saturated fats. If I was not on my phone, I would look up the studies on this. :)

I disagree, I think they need to study specific populations for specific diseases associated with different diets. If you study this across population where this doesn’t matter as much then they will say omega-3 has no effect on nearsighted
