Distribute parity files together with the real deal, like they do on Usenet? Usenet itself is pretty much this anyway. Not sure if the NNTP filesystem implementations work. Also, there's nzbfs [1] [1] https://github.com&#x2F

Yeah, you can call something art and get away with it. Because suddenly it is 'an expression', and it does not matter what the use is. If you don't like it, it is a matter of 'taste' and if you don't agree with

Yeah, you can, as you have connectors which allow USB-C pass-through on top of the 3.5 mm. Another alternative is 3.5 mm to Bluetooth adapter from your headset. Though those are usually (?) male, and hence only work on a female 3.5 mm. You

The standard, lol. Go watch any live broadcast of a band past 20 years. You'll notice they use wired, not wireless. Why would they do that? Because the latency is lower, the sound quality is higher, and the bandwidth is higher. Don&#x2

I have owned WF-1000XM3, 4, and (currently) 5. I got the 5 with discount as replacement for the 4 since the battery of one earbud was dead due to a firmware bug. The noise cancelling gets slightly better each iteration. There's another

You can easily install Wireguard on EdgeOS (VyOS fork) 1.x and 2.x and 3.x will have it natively. The OS is kind of RIP otherwise, so I cannot recommend it, but Ubiquiti just released a new UnifiOS-based router with 5 2.5 GHz ports saturati

It is a metasearch engine. So it uses other search engines. The point is to let multiple use it, so that Google et al. does not know who's using their service. Ie. it is a gloried proxy. Honestly, I just use Kagi. Though I need to find

I just don't get these coffee comparisons. I don't know about you but I get free coffee at work on location, and at home the coffee is reasonably good that a Starbucks is not worth it.

This is hard to argue. 10 USD can be a lot of money for poor people, especially those in less wealthy areas of the world. I've recently trialed Kagi, was happy with my first 100 searches, so I went for the 300 option for 5 USD/mon

Mitnick, at this point, has deceased. Read up on red teaming and social engineering in general. Many more examples of red teaming are available, for example. I thoroughly enjoy these specific stories on Darknet Diaries podcast.

I remember when I had ADSL2, I would get increased packet loss when it rained. After I failed to find the culprit, technicians from ISPs tried to debug it to no avail. It turned away when the connection got upgraded from ADSL2 to VDSL2.

This backdoor would've been caught eventually because the added latency is substantial. It wouldn't have occurred on Arch Linux, BSD, macOS, any Solaris derivative OS (Illumos etc). We should be grateful it got caught so quickly.
