Had an Amiga 500 with (among other games) Lemmings... Great times even though, honestly, for me as a 5 year old the levels / understanding of the game was a bit too much.

My key takeaway, too. I am not worried we will pass NCov19 - we surely will. I am afraid we won't learn anything from it. We surely need to invest more into health policies and reaction to pandemics. We need to be more conservative abo

I interviewed at Google and some other big tech companies in late 2015. From all the big ones Google's process was the most terrible. After the initial screening I had to deal with obviously terribly placed engineers who had an "a

Of course there is, was, and will be! I think people sometimes forget that a healthy level of pragmatism is what keeps shipping. Just because someone said "microservices is the new all" you don't need to do it. Just because s

Thanks for addressing these. I'll try to answer most of them: > I would have liked the article to start off by listing the use cases and trade-offs instead of jumping right on the hype train at full speed. Well, the use cases are pr

That is false. A quick search reveals 21k+ code points indexed where `IConsole` is found. It could be in a comment, it could be in part of a string, it could be anywhere. But these are not 21k+ projects - it may be like 2k+ or something ass

Maybe you are interested in a real-world comparison, where you'd see that the solutions always pretty much tend to go in the triple digits (# dependencies). It's the old tradeoff: Configuration (+ installation of multiple plugins,

Can you elaborate why? I tried it in the past (maybe a year ago) and just 2 weeks ago, too. The experience I had was aweful. Pretty much nothing was working. Maybe I am too biased from Parcel and I got disappointed when even simple things s
