Yes, I would quite like to see Linux filesystems require that file names be in valid UTF-8, with no new lines, at the very least. Normalisation would be a bonus but I'd want to do it a way that is helpful for compatibility with macOS a

jOOQ and SQLAlchemy are libraries for Java and Python respectively. You can't take your knowledge of those libraries and use them in a different programming language. And you still need to know SQL well in order to do any debugging, be

Yes, SQL has flaws, and the article forgot to mention one of them: you need to build a string to build an SQL query, rather than a more structured object, leading to flaws like SQL injection vulnerabilities, and difficulties adjusting the q

People read emails on their small screen devices, and I think it would challenging to read an email on a small screen made with tables.

This looks really cool. I put in some numbers for a service that I am considering, and the answer was the opposite of what I was intuitively expecting, which proves the need for something like this. Some feedback: - s/(one person)&#x2F

Goals in Google Calendar can only be created from Android or iOS, and not from the web, for some reason. I presume Reclaim doesn't have this limitation.

Some breaches are marked as "sensitive". HIBP won't tell you if an email is in one of the sensitive breaches unless you prove ownership of the email address by clicking on a verification link.

Watching this, I felt like I was watching the mother of all email demos. I am really liking the thought that they put into common email workflow problems. I haven't tried it yet, has anyone else?

Not all websites are going to improve their performance, even with Google's incentive. If Google ranks fast websites better than slow ones, that gives Google an advantage over any competitor that doesn't, as long as slow websites

I completely agree. System fonts render Arabic very differently on Windows, on Chrome OS and on Ubuntu, for instance, so differently that you feel you need to adjust the font size depending on the font being used.

This is not "slightly" dishonest on Zoom's part. It is dishonest. Edit: now that the title has been modified, I feel I need to add back context. Zoom claims to support end-to-end encryption when it doesn't. That is disho
