I'm not saying it's aliens, but it's definitely aliens. I mean, if the aliens are hiding the first places we should look are deep in the ocean and on the dark side of the moon.

I cannot believe Tesla is developing humanoid robots. That, to me, would be a monumental shift for humanity. Do people not understand that has the potential to completely revolutionize labor forever? Tesla is at the scale where they can sup

IRS agents make $60k/year. $80B/87k/$60k = 15 years salary. Clearly there is more to the story. Why not tell the real story instead of mischaracterizing it as going to "spying" on bank accounts?

Kids nowadays have no respect making single-page applications on their iPad. Seriously though, the old days of writing software from scratch are gone. This reliance on frameworks and the associated toolchain complexity is a big mistake. The

Video games are disposable products, other software is usually mission critical and requires long-term support. So for games you can get away without automation but with other software it would destroy you. Testing is not free, it is a trad

There is no measurement for T cell immunity though. So you're pointing to something that can't be quantified and that's not scientific. The vaccine trials were deemed a success due to high levels of neutralizing antibodies. T

I agree that we went wrong with JS. We've just made the best of the the garbage tech we were given (XML, CSS). At the end of the day, the web was designed for serving documents. I think the whole idea of web applications needs to be re

Waterfall was never that bad anyway. Agile doesn't magically make people more productive. It only solves the problem of overrunning deadlines by pretending they're not important. If anything it puts needless pressure on devs who i

RoR is the best framework/library I've ever used. The opinionated nature and well-thought out architecture is unrivalled in my opinion. Unfortunately Facebook had to ruin the party with their garbage-ass take on web components.

This is way over my head. Why is this considered a new phase of matter? The physics equivalent of a fruit fly? What kind of stupid analogy is that? It sounds like a quantum version of a crystal oscillator.
