The world is full of beautiful indie games, I barely play AAA games. But even then, I wouldn't consider it as a PRIMARY pc if you have budget for something more. It's a great secondary pc. That's what I mean by "market&q

You cannot play two different games at the same time with your 50ft hdmi cable. Can't people see any usecase for the steam machine? I understand, you are not in the market for it. I am, I have a good usecase which possibly will make th

I lived 25 years in Rome, now I live in Vancouver. Went back to Rome in the summer this year (haven't been there in summer in about 8 years)... And holy moly it's so hot. Unbearably hot and humid. You don't want to step out,

Grab pc part picker and do it yourself, it's not complex. How can there be 50% markup if the ram price is alone like 500$

Isn't the whole routing to file idea what PHP was doing (with Apache) for a very long time?

I am flabbergasted by the negativity. It is more expensive of what we hoped for. Is it overpriced? I tried to calculate what a PC would cost NOW and it's exactly the same cost. I have a big Steam Library, a Steam Deck (actually 2), a d

Interesting! I remember somebody telling me that at the hospital, so this feels awkward. I do wonder if the epidural maybe negatively affects the production? I have no clue, but that's a big relief.

I was shocked to discover that if a woman gets an epidural, it stops producing oxytocin that mitigates the pain for the baby (and mom). That sounds absolutely horrible for that little creature. Yet I am a man, so I really am not allowed to

No the PlayStation portal streams, there is an enormous difference there. I can already stream any steam game on any android and iphone out there

Lol! I know right? Jokes aside, I figured out techniques to avoid buying all together, which is great. I already spent plenty.

Why dead on arrival though? If you want to buy the same kind of pc, price is the same. You can buy a PS5, of course, but that's a different walled garden. If you are in the market for a 3k pc, sure do it, but if you are in the market

I know many people keep pointing at PS5 as the competition, but I'll throw this in: I can buy a game on PC and play it on the go, I don't have to buy anything else. The Steam Deck+a PC places Steam in a different league than the P

I could have forgiven nil checks, but nil checks on interfaces elevated nils to a whole new level, which is annoying, but I do get where they were going with this: you should never nil check an interface. After all,an interface could be val

When you start giving something comparable to the actual cost of having a child, it's going to matter. You need more than one bedroom to have a child, that increases the price of a home in Vancouver by 200k. What should I do with tens

The correct statement in the US would be: You want seatbelts, airbags, ABS? You have to pay a $1000 monthly fee. Sorry, I couldn't resist

I did not say it's necessary, but it's a HUGE improvement to moving with transit. You cannot change at the last minute unless you know all the bus routes, which you can do with a map app. It makes an enormous difference for transi

16 is steep, at 14 I was going around by bus a lot, having google maps to track when, what and where the bus is stopping would have made an enormous difference (this is a big city, changing route due to delays is possible). I wish I had it.

I have been working from home for the last 20 years, that's the entirety of my work life. Lack of social interaction has not been a problem, I either had them digitally and later on, my wife works from home with me. No office, thanks.

kinda, SteamOS is an arch distribution but it's locked down by default (you can access stuff) and it's run by the company selling games on PC, so they make it work. On a normal arch distribution, you have to deal with installing d
