It's going to require more OS and hardware upgrades for Android to properly support music apps due to the latency of the audio stack. In previous versions of Android it's over 100ms, 4.1 they were aiming for 10ms for Nexus devices. Other de

It's been a long time, but now there is more viable competition as well as less need to upgrade from older versions. I think Microsoft would be far better off doing more frequent OS updates with smaller changes.

I don't know if Windows 8 is good or bad, but I do know the perception of it is bad. Perception is reality. If Microsoft doesn't get control of Windows 8 image ASAP then it's going to bomb.

I've been using AskGeo for about 10 months and am very happy with it. Does exactly what I need. I am surprised to see it's now $200/year. What I signed up AskGeo said: Is this free? Yes, for now. We built this for internal use and this

Windows is UTF-16 internally, unless using the old ASCII functions. NSString on the Mac is UTF-16. I think w_char in Linux is UTF-32. I still think its an awkward statement. It should say Unicode internally, the specific encoding is irrelev
