Such a great album. Every time I scroll by it — right after John Hiat and right before John Mayer on the playlist — I give it a listen. This is an album my uncles told me to listen to after I started listening to Led Zeppelin so that I coul

Yea, no. HN is the pinnacle of UI as far as I am concerned. It is as simple as is necessary but not lacking in features. And the filtering/ranking of articles is top-notch. The only thing I miss, content wise, is political posts, becau

All that’s needed is a VPN and a torrent client. Membership is open to all. If you are on a Mac I recommend BiglyBT.

This is one reason I am grateful for having grown up in an apartment complex - I had ready access to loads of kids around my age, a field for baseball and football games, a cement area for wall-ball and four-square, and secret places to jus

I love seeing anything Nabokov related pop-up here; all of his books are lessons in how powerful fictional characters can be when crafted well. Read all of his books as soon as you can!

For a great example of fan edits, compare Harmey’s Despecialized Editions of Episodes 4, 5, and 6 to the butchered final copies that George tried to make be the only available versions; the Despecialized versions are astonishingly superior

I am thrilled to cross-paths with another TTNG fan online; I know a grand total of 1 fan outside of the internet. They are criminally underrated and I am praying that despite their years-long-silence we’ll get some new material and another

One of my favorite bands, TTNG, has a wicked good song inspired by this essay. If you like math-rock at all I reckon you’d enjoy it: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dCKXg2scb_s&pp=ygUaaW4gcHJhaXN...
