Only 29% of Americans 17-24 are eligible to become a soldier so that makes them a more exclusive class than those eligible to be teachers. Also they have intelligible resumes providing evidence of past job performance.

JS strings are exposed as UTF-16 in the language — surrogate pairs have length 2 and you can index into half of them.

Yep. There are still some annoyances like invalid UTF-16, so maybe there is more is needed than just the basic transformations — some precise handling or parameters specifying how to handle these edge cases could be necessary. Handling UTF-

Plenty of applications just need to take strings in one format and pass them along in another format without doing feats of string processing to them.

That is wrong. Discrimination doesn’t cause low IQ. Every major American race has a very high median income, by international and historic standards.

I see your point that it’s not random but an exponential increase wouldn’t result from chaotic changes in orbit. That randomizes, making it quadratic. It looks like inactive geostationary satellites will drift to the same longitudes, and t

The risk grows quadratically in decay time, not exponentially. Actually less than that, as orbits with more decay time have more vertical space.

Ordinary hash maps are still amortized expected O(1) — they will hit an O(n) case, guaranteed, when they need to grow the array, and it’s expected that the amortized runtime is O(1). Being merely “expected O(_)” would be appropriate for alg
