Wait… Apple is providing support via Discord now? Anyways, if you have access to a Mac you can sync your notes via iCloud and then on Mac you can easily access the SQLite DB containing the notes. If you can figure out the schema it would be

Are the $150 phones slow? I’ve never tried a Moto but the $150 Samsung I tried was so slow it was nearly unusable.

Do those sub $300 phones sell well in the EU? My only experience with a $150 USD phone, Samsung A10, was that it was so slow it was nearly unusable. I wasn’t really sure who the market is for that phone. Maybe at €250 the A32 is a much bett

But it’s not about specs per money spent, it’s about the experience you get.

I’m not sure I agree. The people buying a $400 phone aren’t getting sweaty about the specs, the phone is just a tool for them. They probably don’t even know what 720p is

These days with the iPhone SE you can get a $400 iPhone, there’s $300 Androids which the iPhone doesn’t hit but below $300 an Android is gonna be so bad it’s not really in consideration in the first place for most people.

Are iPhones more expensive than Android in the EU? Here in the US they’re pretty much the same price, at least the past few years.

I suspect that phone usage went up substantially during the pandemic, and that had somewhat of a lag effect to show up in these reports.

It’s the phones. Our attention spans and ability to focus have been destroyed by constant little hits of dopamine.

Probably pretty soon. The controller work is done and Xbox won’t need the amount of optimization that Switch does. That being said, Wube doesn’t do something unless they do it right and right now their main focus is probably the DLC

The thing is, is the iPad really the best device at the price point for these people? Artist seems like the only one. - for a musician, surely the full featured desktop software is better? And for $800 you can get a pretty good laptop - vid

I have to ask, why did you buy an iPad expecting it to collect dust?

There’s no way they’re doing this on purpose. They can’t possibly be selling enough of these to offset legal fees and bad press

Do you have a source? I’m curious how they fix that, maybe they disable the DRM requirement?

Not to mention you can buy a PS3 or Xbox 360 for about $150 on eBay with a bundle that includes dozens of game discs. These consoles are over a decade old but they still hold up fantastically well.

If we’re talking about PCs you could buy an old office PC on eBay for $150 with a 7th gen Intel CPU and 16 GB of RAM and play a glut of low power games, retro emulators, etc. And if you’re willing to shell out another $150 for a 5 year old

And when your CMOS battery dies after, hopefully, 20 years or so, the game will require a DRM check with Sony except it has been delisted

You don’t have to pay a fee. Any account can sign and side load an app for free, and every 7 days you have to let it check in with apples servers. If you pay $100/year for a developer account, the apps can sit much longer without needi
