Firefox should just change its ua to not-chromium. We will all know what it means.

Are you certain that search is more important than chrome? Sure search was their first product, but they have long since pivoted to being an ad company. And while yes, they can show ads along side search, the real cash cow is all the juicy

Seems like a decent compromise would be to record a 2 hour loop but as soon as the words "declaring emergency" or similar are detected it stops looping and just records everything till the storage is full. Say 25 hours worth. The

I flew in a MAX one time. It was a short hop between Burbank and San Jose. There were maybe around 10-15 passengers, the crew asked us to not all sit at the front for balance. The plane had been sat on the ground powered down for hours, eve

I use microdot on a pi pico w and while it does work it also runs the board out of ram and makes connecting to wifi somewhat nondeterministic. I solved this my precompiling to bytecode both microdot and picozero libraries. Works great now,

How do you spend away a bunch of NIMBYs? Their whole thing is that they refuse to cooperate with that. Bombs would solve that, but come with a host of other... issues.

Based on nothing but my gut: Velcro is the right word. Xerox is acceptable but not what I reach for first. Kleenex just sounds wrong. It's tissue and always has been. Maybe it's a regional thing? NorCal.

Is there a similar list for coal plants? Also, skimming the list of USA incidents, there are a great deal of bullshit "incidents" in recent times. Most related to natural machanical breakdowns in non radioactive systems due to eve

And the safety systems worked so everything was (mostly) contained and no one got hurt. Like a car crash where the seat belts and airbags lead to no injuries. And then all driving was banned.

Every lighthouse I've visited in California has a small automated light attached somewhere to it which is the real navigation aid, and everything else is just a history museum now.

Now imagine having a gas pump at your house so you just top off once every few days before running out on errands. That's not even farfetched if your car runs on methane.

Exactly. They don't need to sell at cost, they just need to slightly underbid the competition. Which they've executed perfectly. EU has no flying rockets right now and Ariane6 is basically DOA if it ever gets over the finish line
