I got 30/40. I can imagine static images with almost unbounded detail visually, but movement is hard, other senses are a lot harder and imagining transitions(like a blue sky becoming stormy) is almost impossible.

Distribution of media is not as clearcut and issue as you make it seem. Just a couple complicating factors: there are lots of places where popular media is impossible to access legally due to licensing, and DRM often prevents media shifting

I believe even in the short term, tested code gets done faster than non tested code, simply because you tend to waste so little time in trivial mistakes when you test. But it takes time to get to that point, and you don't get to practi

Have you tried doing code reviews? If a refactoring sucks you should be able to catch before it goes into master(or however your main branch is called), and educate the programmer. Teaching our coworkers to write better code is part of our

Unit tests tell you what that small thing you did ages ago was meant to do, and what it does in different circumstances. If you have the discipline to thoroughly test your code(and the knowhow to not write brittle tests), it can really pay

Nitpick: OTOH usually means "on the other hand". I'm guessing you mean "off the top of my head", but that's not an usage I can find anywhere else.

Well, with Dropbox the default setting is to keep local copies of all files in every computer connected to the system, so it probably wouldn't be catastrophic.

Does the order of the parameters matter? It's been a while since I've touched Haskell, so maybe it's obvious that this isn't [a] -> a -> Bool for some idiomatic reason. I guess that would be `isContained` instead o

IMO, half a minute falls within "seconds". If I had to cut it somewhere, I'd think it would be in 45 or 50 seconds, at which point I would call it almost a minute. But then again, colloquial english. Still. The point is that

I don't get why. When I'm organizing my thoughts in code, I normally write something pythonish, but not really any real language. Stopping to think about the correct syntax does not make me solve the problem any faster or any bett

The problem is not whether cars can enter the exclusive lane. The bus need to be able to get out of the lane unless the lanes go everywhere the bus may want to go. Having tram lines go everywhere can be prohibitively expensive. Building exc

In Buenos Aires, there are bus lanes on some major avenues. That means buses are on bus lanes some of the time but not all of the time. A tram can't do that.

I love Kotlin, but being able to develop libraries in one language and use them in both Android and iOS is huge. I have been using J2Objc for this until now, and while it's a great tool, it forces me to use Java, which I don't lov
