Interesting product. I know others building in this space. How are things going with existing customers? And how are you measuring deltas vs standard agentic processes? Are you using RAG under the hood?

I’m trying to build SmallDocs, a new markdown first browser based document format (mainly for ease of use by agents): https://sdocs.dev More info on a ShowHN here: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=47777633

I’ve been building something somewhat adjacent to this. It’s https://sdocs.dev . It’s as 100% private browser based Markdown renderer

It's nice to see people building things, but honestly I found the demo video a bit disappointing. A bit too slow, a bit too choppy, a bit hand wavy. It didn't make me grasp why I needed this in my life.

I like it. I am building something very agent-use focused ( https://sdocs.dev ) and I’ve been thinking of introducing a /agent-evaluation page, which an agent can curl to then discuss with their user if SmallDocs is right for

This is exactly my view and exactly what I’m building at https://sdocs.dev . It’s Word if it were for cli based agents. It’s cli-first, markdown first, and you rarely if ever create the docs. Instead you tell your agent, “researc

1) Very nice implementation 2) Very nice domain! Did you always own "files.md"? 3) Re storing things on your server, what is the security layer around that? I have been building a slightly different solution to the same problem. S

I've been experimenting with a fairly vibecoded Office 365..., but rooted in the world of vibe (an advanced Markdown reader which can do complex things like render charts and mermaid diagrams, see: https://sdocs.dev , https

I liked the article and the term thinkism (which I hadn’t heard before). I think education should be radically changed to be about doism instead. I think it’s likely we have more engaged kids learning more valuable life skills.

SmallDocs person here, IMO the location of Markdown files and the reading of them are separate things. SmallDocs is just about reading not about storing. Eg if you are working in ~/code/my_project, and have a README.md, you (or yo

Firstly I think this is a super interesting approach to a real problem. I think it offers a lot. I wonder about frustrations around consistency etc though. Have you had any? I have been building a slightly different solution to the same pro

Thank you very much! I launched via a Show HN a few weeks ago [1] which goes into quite a few details which might not be obvious. Also one thing that probably isn't clear with everything I've written so far is that by far the most

Sounds pretty interesting. Got a video of it? Sometimes our vibe coded tools are pretty useful... but sometimes we can be a bit shy to share them given the vibeness...

Yeah, I think the point about editing is a very good one. There is something comforting about them and perhaps that's it (+ maybe we are used to them being A4 pages, so you know what to expect). I think also the lack of flexibility wit

Interesting point. What do you feel about the "business world"'s heavy use of PDFs? There is something to be said about the file format being trusted/so dominant now... probably some random sequence of events led to this

Yep, it is a very interesting space for improvements imo. Kind of broadly speaking copy and paste is so central to working with a computer in a smooth way it should probably have more power / quality built into it (e.g. not having to i

Yep, they (can) rarely enter your domain... so it's easy to assume its going to be trivial (maybe because things like .md or .txt files are trivial, so it's easy to think there's not much of a delta)
