On my corporate laptop, I only have Edge and Chrome installed, and I run Edge by choice. I like the horizontal (I meant vertical!) tabs. At home it's Firefox. I guess I mostly just don't want to use Chrome :D

44 billion was around 25% of his net worth. That's a lot of money, even for Musk. If his current actions cause Tesla to be viewed less favorably and sales to decline, it could cost him a lot more than that

He's demonstrated he's generally in favor of speech he likes. I don't think there's any obvious connection between those accounts getting banned/unbanned under his leadership other than "does Elon like this acc

There's a tension between allowing more things and being a welcoming platform that people enjoy participating in. I don't think anyone really knows how things at Twitter will land yet.

I rarely take mine to the park for the reason you mentioned.... It's boring. I just tell my kids to go play outside. They're 7 and 8 and are each other's best friend. Just find something you and your kids enjoy and do that

Out of curiosity, for Indians working in America, how hard is it to hide your caste or pretend to be of another caste altogether? Is this something that comes up in conversation among Indians? Do names tend to correlate to you caste? And if

When does a person die? When the last synapse fires? When the heart stops? When your brain is too far gone for you to be responsive? The truth is there is no bright line. Dying is a process, not an event. So is coming into being. Personally

I would argue horses are different than dogs. Dogs a are bred to attach to and love humans. Horses.... tolerate us. They'll fall in line if you demonstrate you're the leader, but they don't bond like dogs do.

How could both be compatible? US plugs are meant operate at 120 volts, EU at 240. I don't see how both could be supported safely.

We use a cell service called Tello for my kids phones. For $5/mo you can get a plan with 100 minutes of voice calls, sms, and no data whatsoever. It's perfect for my kids, since I don't really want them to have mobile data an

Gas stoves get hot faster and respond quickly when you turn the dial, that's their big advantage. But electric is hotter. Even plain resistance coil electric elements put out much more heat than gas. Try to boil a pot of water on gas v

As someone who is self-taught as a programmer, I came into the field with a serious case of imposter syndrome. There was so much theoretical stuff I didn't know. Then I got into my job and it turned out it didn't really matter and

I don't know what the textbook definition is, but I think libertarianism (in the US, in my experience) is more about being against government regulation. Even if regulation would increase freedom (for, say, a minority group) libertaria
