Targeting 13 to 25 year old's seems awfully young. Near all in my media addiction self help group are older, quite a few of them significantly. Such help only works if the individual actually wants to change itself, and the realization

Its send to collections. So you're only fine if you are poor enough to not have anything they can take from you. And at that point you are eligible for gov support to your healthcare bill anyway. Here in germany you can actually kind o

Not just that, ICE cars emit their shitty exhaust right where lots of people live. Things are generally more complex than breaking it down to a single CO2 number make it appear, and I'm a bit uneasy that recent trend.

Wow this factory seems highly ... underutilized to me. Is it normal for so much to stand still all the time? I love how detailed this vid is, though.

Robotaxis will quickly become highly durable (well, maintenance become cheap), since for the first time incentives mostly align. The car will be produced and maintained by the same one of few powerful corporations. The bigger problem will b

Reminds me of a concept called Overton window [0]. Just want to mention this describes how people behave, as in a human weakness. Not how people should behave to form optimal opinions / societies. [0] https://en.wikipedia.or

In Street View [0] the area looks totally different from the article. I'd love to learn more. What is more up to date? If the article, why were those changes made? [0] https://www.google.com/maps/@47.3838561,8.5483

Found it on maps [0] (well 50m down the road, looking at the camera pos of the article), but it looks totally different. Way more conventional with both tram tracks in the middle of the road and cars outside. StreetView is dated 2014. I won

FB is certainly free to clean up once they get inquiries from media. Inaction would make attribution to the US more easy, thus any NSL forcing FB to cooperate is likely limited in scope to internal measures like scanning for fake accounts.

The sad part is users being trained to just click away those warnings. Installing one of the few big & trusted third party stores should not require me to go through the same warnings as getting an APK from some random third party page.

Yes, but the value of benefits is highly dependent on the employee. 30% off international flights might be an awesome deal, but unlikely for someone who cannot even afford a car. Vacation has great value, but usually only after basic needs

Not having populist demagogs reach significant power would be a nice start. Though I'm not sure if the migrant "crisis" is actually the cause or just a symptom for deeper issues.

What you are describing is the usual problem of establishing a two sided market. You need users to make app developers care. You need apps to get users in the first place. From what I remember, MS already had to build some apps themselves &

My problem with your "solution" is that it only works under very narrow assumptions. E.g. how does the Netflix client handle such a redirect? At best with "bad connection", I'd presume. I'd hope they would at l
