I appreciate the effort here, but I’m still confused. Is my $250/mo “ultra” plan considered personal and still something you train on?

To be honest this is by far the most frustrating part of the Gemini ecosystem, to me. I think 2.5 pro is probably the best model out there right now, and I'd love to use it for real work, but their privacy policies are so fucking confu

FWIW as a (somewhat frequent) visitor this has not been my experience at all, and in comparision to other European cities I found it very warm and inviting.

Daily driver no, but after the somewhat recent ultrawide monitor update, it is absolutely viable for travel. It's nice not to be constrained by a 14" monitor while on the road, and it's perfectly usable for a couple hours of

Cool! Pilots are always looking for better/more accurate weather data. If you can predict visibility (in statue miles) and ceiling height (in feet AGL), you can predict the flight category (VFR, MVFR, IFR, LIFR) which would be quite us

BGP is very much not only for private networks - it is what the internet is built on. Maybe you are thinking of iBGP or something like OSPF?

Pretty much just go buy a Bambu X1C and be done with it. I've been through a bunch of 3d printers, all of which required constant tinkering and babysitting. The Bambu just works, you click print and it prints, and fast. There's so

YouTube is not a good representation of what you hear in a headset. Half the time the mic taps aren't impedence matched and sound like shit. Besides that, most "controlling" (i.e. instructions that require action) comms have

Yep. Radios are much clearer in the air. VHF is mostly line of sight and planes have the benefit of altitude. Approach/center comms can get a bit scratchy at times mostly due to distance, but approach/tower is almost always perfec

This is really cool. Having gone through some of the same challenges for hobby projects myself (learning Fusion, learning to make a PCB, learning to make the 10th revision of the PCB), you're being quite humble - each one of these thin

They have really become the gold standard in avionics, so much so that some airframes are preferred to others due to the fact that they've chosen to integrate a Garmin flight deck instead of Honeywell/Rockwell/etc. They have

But that's also not really what Trump is proposing, right? The NYT article Nate Silver linked to quotes: >“Making Daylight Saving Time permanent is OK with me!” Mr. Trump posted on social media in March 2019. I presume by "endi

It’s not magical, it’s exactly the same as IPv4, you either peer with them via BGP and advertise it yourself, or you give them an LOA to advertise it on your behalf.

This looks like cool software and something I might be interested in, but I hate hate hate locking SSO behind the "enterprise" tier. I wish this wasn't so common.

I've not played MSFS2020 since just after it came out, but at that time XPlane was still king when it came to realistic rendering of flight physics. There is no question MSFS looked better, though. Wonder if that has changed?

I am confused by the slide, which mentions in the first bullet point that this is the first "G4" since 2005, but in the last bullet point says there was one in March.
