I was going to say, presuming that they guarantee delivery $100 would be cheap to get an audience for a pitch of one form or another. Still, I suspect his Facebook account is at least monitored (if not primarily run by) his admin - which mi

This would be of interest to me as well. Have just about finished recoding the game that I couldn't get in the MS store due to tester issues. Have been able to do this one with my own skills and some volunteer VAs. I want to do a bigger VN

I use a Galaxy Camera with a 4G LTE MiFi from Verizon, and can tell you that a Nexus with a similar backend should work nicely for you. Advantage of the MiFi is that I don't have to do anything to tether (no funny business like with a phone

These are always fun, but don't address the need that many game developers (ok, at least "I") have - the need for detailed backgrounds - preferably ones that can mesh well with each other. That can really help set the "world" for the player

My personal favorite Windows 8 feature - plug in a mouse, but not a keyboard. Go to a text field. Windows 8 figures that if you have a mouse you "must" have a keyboard even though it can plainly see you don't. So the on-screen keyboard does

Not a personal rant, but for folks who have been following the saga, the final step in trying to develop for the Windows Store. Folks are wondering why the Windows Store isn't doing well, and I think this explains it.

Ummm... not to be the wet blanket, but what business advantage is there to your blog loading 2.3x (or even 5x) faster? I understand you may occasionally be adding content that helps plug your work, but in general I am less concerned about t

I don't doubt Win 8 demand is "weak", but I understand that app store activity for paid apps more than doubled after Christmas. So I suspect that a better measure will be to see where we are in January after all the folks who got new PCs an

CreateJS in many ways seems to bring Flash/ActionScript concepts to JavaScript. I used EaselJS and PreloadJS in my Win 8 project, and in a lot of ways it felt like I was back in ActionScript (except for worrying about which page on the time
