Thinking about wattage is more useful. We'd get about 2MW so you could run 20k-ish homes (1kW average across a day) for a short time until the potato energy is depleted. You'll also need to buy the metal electrodes.

Is there anywhere I can try my own hand at tricking/social-engineering a virtual AI vending machine?

Just make a big spinner and put it above a lamp with multiple bulbs. The interference pattern will make a ripple effect.

Some ideas for improvements: - Can you support more formats besides Webp and PNG? - Too much text on the interface - This reads more like a landing page for a startup than a SPA tool. Compare to e.g. [0] [0]: https://dinoosauro.

Think tabs widget would look better if it was more like a text area in appearance. Tab title should be connected to its content.

Why can't the polyfill be enabled by default? It would fix the security issues and we wouldn't have to worry about breaking websites. The JS polyfill also makes supporting modern XSLT feasible.

Why does the cursor flicker around the screen for most of these? Does it have something to do with not double buffering the display?

Was thinking about vectorizing these and using a pen plotter to make some cool art for my wall, but the images are not very high resolution, unfortunately :(

I don't think that's fair. Also the project is 4 years old so the timeline doesn't really work out for being vibe-coded.

I use their "Advanced" billing mode which is usage-based and ended up cheaper than the fixed-price "Simple" mode. This was my bill for last month (received ~300 emails): Total: $0.35 Storage (GB/month):

Just start going through your accounts gradually over several years and you won't experience much friction.

I use PurelyMail to get email redirection with wildcard support. Costs $4/year when I use it with Gmail for the actual storage. I use an underscore so my addresses look like evidlo_[placholder]@example.com

Requiring a formal research plan can still serve as a filter for researchers who are not serious or disciplined, even if they don't stick to it exactly.
