For me, a hybrid system combines the worst aspects of both worlds. I think employees should get clear commitments on WFH days so they can decide if they want to move out of the city. For example, I wouldn't mind moving from my apartmen

Not necessarily. I thought it was mainly about encrypting traffic in untrusted networks. Cloudflare already does it like this in their VPN service.

Does Apple preserve the client source IP in the request (similar to Cloudflare's VPN) or will the server only see the IP of the exit node?

But it could also limit your future opportunities as it's still unclear which employers will offer attractive remote options.

If privacy is a concern, users should also consider switching to an independent DoS/DoT DNS provider.

Why would the investigation budget be capped at $600k? Those criminals probably won't stop there and who knows for what they are using the profits.

Doesn't Safari has the biggest marketshare on mobile (at least in the US)? So I don't think any major site could simply ignore that.

Why put all this responsibility on developers? I'm pretty sure none of my former managers could have been swayed by talking about the long-time independence of the web. Usually, the most pressing issue was fixing bugs in prod and deliv

I think this needs to go even further than just disclosing the algorithm and code. The companies and prosecutors should be required to fund independent audits and bug bounty programs. Otherwise, it would be very difficult for resource strap

How would a military escalation help in a conflict in which Russia is involved? Besides that, I doubt that there would be any public support for this in European countries that are not direct neighbours.

Do you really expect to notice a difference on a HomePod? Most people have difficulties differentiating 128kbps mp3s from lossless using high-end hardware.

How is not supporting "24-bit/192kHz" making a headphone obsolete? I would be surprised if you can even hear a difference on any AirPods compared to "24-bit/48kHz".

What type of API integrations would you need? In my experience, it can be very difficult to get any type of support from a big company if you're not paying. If possible, I would offer a free POC to a potential customer, who is also a c
