Cato is notoriously big on mass immigration. They are incredibly pro business and their donors need cheap labor.

Maine and Vermont did this years ago. Its very nice. Meanwhile, driving through other urban areas in the US, the # of billboards make it seem like a hellscape. At least personal injury and bail bonds industry is doing well!

I feel for the poor dispatchers who'll have to deal with bickering idiots on video discussing domestic/civil disputes.

Don't care. They don't live here - there aren't 100s of homeless families around town. They live out of town. Its not a towns responsibility to subsidize housing for people who aren't even residents.

Imagine putting one of these in your home. Whenever I visit family/friends with one, I unplug it asap. 95% of people just use it to play a song or start a timer. Big waste.

My town almost has zero renters - something like 5-7%. Most of those are accessory dwellings or STR for the lake in town. Very low property tax (paying $1200/year on a $400k 2k sq foot home with 5 acres). Shares a school district with

I don't want any development in my charming rural town. But if I have to pick, I'd prefer single family homes. Everyone knows that big developments bring crime, traffic/more cars, environmental concerns, burdens on the school

I almost spit out my coffee when I saw this. The ADHD industrial complex steams on I guess. If doctors can "prescribe" video games, can prescribe time playing outside or away from technology? I suspect that doesn't get the us

Start putting addicts and rabid homeless in mental wards/jails and only then will public bathrooms be tolerable. Hire some local muscle to keep an eye on things. Problem solved. These days I'd rather spend $5-$10 on a beer or souv
