A sample size of one doesn't really tell you anything in this context. HN definitely has a pretty heavy bias in some directions, it's mostly that the crowd that naturally flocks here tends to mostly agree on those topics, so you d

Climate change doesn't mean it only gets warmer, it means you get more extreme weather outcomes. Your anecdotes are a good example of climate change in action.

The fact that Jest blindly calls whatever binary is installed as `sl` is downright reckless and that's an understatement. If they need the check, a simple way to avoid the problem would be to install it as a dependency, call `require.r

Frankly that's a good reason to never give Nue serious consideration. It's all fine when you're building small apps one view at a time. When you have an application with hundreds of views and you need to refactor, that's

This only really makes sense for boilerplate code, if Copilot can consistently tab complete everything you were about to write, maybe you should be working on something new, not rebuilding things that probably already exist as a library.

I don't really think saying documentation exists says much when Apple is notorious for having documentation that's either borderline or downright useless. It's generally the norm that some random blog post from a decade ago i

I've built things for a number of armed forces and I have a very hard time believing that what you're working on is so secret and sensitive that it's not possible to ask a third party for input on an isolated replication case

I don't think this is correct? SPF and DKIM are about ensuring that the server actually is who it says it is, not about its reputation. In other words, when you receive an email that claims to be from Gmail, SPF and DKIM help you ensur

That's the same amount of bits I got with every browser I tried (Safari, Chrome, Firefox). Not sure what the takeaway is, but at least for me, all browsers seem to leak roughly the same amount.
