Ctrl-X E didn't work for me. Anyone know what shell that's for? (I'm using bash.)

I had some nibbles from some google recruiters a little while back, but I let it drop. It seemed to corporate. But this article makes me think I should give them another chance.

That really depends on the provider. Verizon seems to have pretty comprehensive coverage. There were some very public horror stories about their customer service a few years ago, though, which could turn out to be a downside.

Anyone got a link to the audio of his talk? I've always loved his SXSW talks, and they've been available on the web pretty quickly in the past.

They certainly crushed the Indian textiles industry economically, which speaks to his broader point that the dominant players only talk about free markets etc. when it suits them.

Not to mention, it must be humiliating for HBGary to be thought of the world as hackable by a 16 year-old girl.

OK, I could see a corporation with a lot of money to splash around covering the cost as a way to motivate a developer...

I find it hard to imagine deriving $1900 of value from the class relative to spending the same amount of time learning independently from Halloway's book, which I can buy for approximately $30.

Yes, I'm really grateful to them for cutting through the crap. It's nice to have a relatively confident sense of what's going on.

So, is it currently possible to run the Replicant fork of Android on a Motorola Droid on the Verizon network? I would like to give that a try, if so. This page says how to port Replicant to a new phone, but not which phones and networks it

Is there a tutorial, or just an article, on how to set up an untraceable web service? Obscuring the ownership of a webserver while at the same time providing reliable service from it sounds like a tricky business.

I haven't come across any scientific basis for ADD, and I've looked. It seems to be a catch-all diagnosis for "responds positively to ritalin, etc."
