I think ubuntu has a good argument[1] that it can still be shipped as a separate kernel module and satisfy both licenses. "The CDDL applies to all files under the CDDL, while the GPLv2 applies to derivative works. The CDDL cannot apply

I think you could even make this into a unified kernel image [1] and boot a single image directly from EFI. [1] https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Unified_kernel_image

Fascinating, I printed a network report from an HP printer and it listed several services, one of which was: 9100 Printing = Enabled So I guessed that I could netcat to port 9100 cat something.pdf | nc 192.168.1.2 9100 It

Thats really cool, I've only ever used the local driver with default settings, which stores to /var/lib/docker, but I guess theres different storage drivers that do different sorts of storage. nice find!

That is an entirely valid approach, but this way it feels like the server requires more maintainance. I can destroy a docker named volume through the lifecycle of the container. But I cant delete a system directory. (edit: I mean using `doc

In my README I explain how to setup the Docker context over SSH. In my system all of the files get written to the volume from only three places: * From the docker image through VOLUME (fresh volumes copy the data from the image on sta

Nice collection, although I don't really like binding volumes to host directories, because then you can't really use docker over SSH. I'm working on my own similar project here that exclusively uses docker named volumes: htt

I tried this, but it only works for HTTP but not for HTTPS. I would need to install some sort of root certificate on my client, and privoxy would need to unwrap and rewrap the TLS with the new certificate, right?

A pinch gesture (Zoom out) cancels it. Very unhelpfully, it also places a hovering X in the top left corner that never goes away. It covers up an area of the screen that a lot of sites would use for a hamburger menu / home link.
