I've never been crazy enough to ask this; but it's simple - Do you actually want to be doing this work, or do you do this work because you need to survive?

Are you personally making profit? Are your paychecks coming in regularly, and your lifestyle still being supported? If that's the case, then back down and don't sweat the rest of it. I understand your idea that you want to be pa

Why should the LA Times keep supporting the EU after GDPR when their financial base is entirely in the US - and the paper's online presence mostly is based on serving ads and retrieving data?

As a private user, I just use either Clonezilla Live or an old version of Norton Ghost, and burn that to media (DVD-RW lately, it used to be CD-RW until that became unfeasible, and before that floppies). I prefer the RWs because that means

Any time you allow the browser to do something without user input, you take away more user control and put it in the hands of a browser developer. That's a mistake.

I like the idea of PeerTube, but there are many hurdles. Anyone whose ISP/firewall/etc blocks all Torrent traffic is going to have a major challenge - which means that while part of what PeerTube has been so far is educational vid

Did Links/eLinks/Lynx not provide a better benefit in terms of bandwidth? It seems like trying to process it the way you're doing would lead to more overall load, rather than less.
