These projects are no different from other random hobby-projects that pop up that weren't LLM-coded. The community will decide if they are useful or not. The difference here might be speed, that there are many more projects like this.

New iteration up. I kept the headings because they make the text easier to scan, but made them more descriptive. Added some transition words. Slight improvement I think.

The license is MIT, so feel free to expand this any way you want! No need to write a new parser from scratch.

Hi! Yes, the headers were LLM generated and the text were not. I didn't want the blog post to go on for ages, so I just wrote a few lines under each heading. Any ideas how to make it better, while not being too long?

It was usable! Yeah, the handler based architecture that I had built on was very dependent on object lookups and method calls, and my hunch was that I had hit a wall trying to optimize the speed. I was slower than html5lib still, so decided

Depending on your perspective, you can take away any of the two points. The first iteration of the project created a library from scratch, from the tests all the way to 100% test coverage. So even without the second iteration, it's sti

Thanks for sharing simon! Writing a parser is a really good job for a coding agent, because there's a clear right/wrong answer. In this case, the path there is the challenging part. The hours I've spent trying to convince age

@nicoles: Understand. Is this just about shipping? Or don't you own the games on the platform, so they can't be shipped overseas?

Them being let go "because they didn't meet 5x" is hearsay. The only source for that is in social-media commentary and opinion pieces. Microsoft described the layoffs as "organizational adjustments".

Looks really fun, but only ships to the US… such a disappointment after reading up on it, and being ready to buy.

Happy to see use cases front and center in command line documentation. They seem to always start with ”obscure command flag that you’ll probably never use”.

This essay is SO well written. I find myself smiling and laughing along. Is great writing a must for communication? No. Would I wish that all writing was like this? Most definitely YES!

I think using Gemma3 in vision mode could be a good use-case for converting PDF to text. It’s downloadable and runnable on a local computer, with decent memory requirements depending on which size you pick. Did anyone try it?
