Emotions aside, you are 100% correct. The current trend of catering to "easiness" is introducing a slew of cons ranging from bad practices, to just down right stupid engineering. Do not ever justify having high standards. ;)

Add to the fact that carbs cause a lot of what I like to call depressive-crashes, compared to caffeine-crashes for example. Since off carbs I'm on a high and yes a I do a lot of caffeine, the latter doesn't lead to depressive mood

No.16 hrs work days. Sleep, exercise, eat extremely clean and healthy. Code/Engineer all day and very successful.
