jdownloader2 is one of those weirdly licensed things, it claims to be "open source" but you actually can't find the entire source anywhere. Worse than proprietary, tbh.

I have a raspberry pi 400 on my desk which hosts some stuff on my home internal network. I've recently set up the num lock LED on it as a CPU activity indicator. It is nice to look at it flashing away while it is being utilized.

I switched to NixOS to solve this sort of problem. Configuration of system-wide things is done in the nix langauge in one place. It also has the most packages of any distro. And I found packaging to be more approachable than other distros,

I think this is some (new?) social media trend, my school started doing it too with their images on facebook. Half the image is just a border so the actual image is really low res. I have no idea why they do it though.
