Location permission is the weird one. Well yes the WLAN network ties to location. But still why can't it be absolutely clearly separate from satellite positioning systems...

Remember how things ended up when insurance policies on loans you didn't hold were allowed... I think there is quite a lot of good reasons to ban those sort of bets.

I think truth is that tech companies are really bad at business unless they can scale with free unit economies. Even the unit costs with per seat subscriptions seem insane when you stop and think of the numbers in isolation. Ofc, compared t

Also thinking about it. Fibre was in the ground. It had minimal storage costs. Same can't really be said about buildings and hardware there which has ongoing costs even if turned off. Storage alone has cost involved at this scale. Ware

Isn't credit ratings pretty much that? Buy the payment history on debt and then sell some derived value to anyone willing to pay?

Difference is that cybertruck is in the purposefully ugly category. Even if it could have been done lot better. This one is not supposed to be ugly. If you want ugly you need to properly lean into it. Cybertruck at least attempted that.

No wonder they need to extract such a massive cut. I really have no hope we will ever get to efficient middle-men who take least they can for good of both sides beyond them.

I could see less savoury companies(which is nearly all of them) to see potential whistle-blower like this as a risk in future. Most people are bad people after all. Especially those in hiring roles.
