Student loans are guaranteed by the federal government, right? Thats why banks dont care. Its just the private student loans banks worry about.

Yeah... but make no mistake, people go to make money, not for some kind of 'higher purpose'.

Access is going mobile. I would make (the uneducated) argument that most people dont want to install your app, they just want to access your site from a mobile browser. I hate getting 5000 worthless push notifications and cluttering my phon

Because not every engineering problem is a software problem. You cant just pop some adderall and code all weekend to fix things like this.

I dont buy this. Nobody Ive ever met gives a shit about non-competes. They aren't really enforceable unless you blatantly steal or copy work.

Actually, compressors use very little energy if you keep them running. They use a lot of energy when they turn on initially, after that, its very little . Ive been working on smart thermostats that take advantage of this phenomenon to lower

Is it not reasonable to do both? Like, amazon is exploitative, sure, but if its so bad that the employee is gonna kill themselves... maybe take a step back and re-evaluate if the job is worth your life?

Yeah, but you got to get that PhD somehow and there are only so many unique topics for your dissertation. Eventually you gotta start reaching!

It specifically mentions information YOU post. Facebook collects metadata about you and your activities. That metadata is whats more dangerous... and conveniently unmentioned.

Yeah, there are some stipulations. Like, you have to go to an in state school. You do give up a significant chunk of your weekends and summers. I was a year behind all of my peers due to training. But to have almost zero debt is worth it. M

I paid out of pocket. Just had to do the national guard for 6 years. They paid for like, 90% of it. It was pretty dope.

People will always own houses. People will always be too lazy to learn how to do things themselves. But thats besides the point, the real money in trades is commercial work, not residential.

Trades pay very well with just a high school education. > "Nowadays, "working-class, blue-collar" stuff does not make money`" is just flat out wrong. That line of thinking is a major contributing factor to the shortag

You think we just throw away all of those brass casings we use at the range...? Lol, big gun nuts are gonna have tens of thousands of shells around just waiting to be refilled.

You can buy a belt fed machine gun legally, btw. It will cost you a lot because there aren't a lot of NFA stamped automatic weapons left that were grandfathered in, but you can buy one pretty easy if you have the cash.

Well, believe it or not, not everyone wants to ban guns. Some of us really enjoy them. And Im not advocating sending more people overseas. Im saying when we do, Id rather it be a robot than a person... why is this about gun control now?

We can argue about the implications all we want... but given the choice between sending an American soldier overseas to die or a robot to get destroyed... the choice is pretty obvious to me.
